Castaways is our volunteer-run second-hand craft shop located within our premises at No.32 Castle Street, Montrose.
It features a wide range of recycled and repurposed crafting supplies at very budget-friendly prices. From acrylic stamps to zips, not to mention, supplies for everything from appliqué to weaving, it’s a real treasure trove!
Our aim at Castaways is to help inspire creativity while promoting sustainability within our community. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or just starting out, there’s something for everyone.
All profits from sales go straight back into the charity, allowing us to provide crucial services to the wider community.
Castaways is open Monday to Friday 10 am till 4 pm and we warmly invite you to pop in and visit us!

How to donate items
We are always happy to receive donations.
If you, or anyone you know, have crafting materials, tools, craft books or similar that are no longer needed then we would greatly appreciate your contributions. You can donate them by bringing them into the shop during opening hours, Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm. If you are unable to attend while we are open, then please email office.montrosebefriending@gmail.com and we will do our best to make arrangements.
